Bio

Neus Solà (1984) is a documentary photographer born and based in Barcelona. She holds a degree in Humanities, a diploma in Fine Arts, a master’s degree in Visual Anthropology, and a postgraduate in Therapeutic and Participatory Photography. She is co-founder of aladeriva Lab, with whom she leads workshops and participatory photography projects, and coordinator of the cross-border photography festival FotoLimo in the last two editions. Interested in exploring the human condition, her body of work encompasses long-term photographic projects revolving around topics of identity, gender, and territory from an anthropological approach.

Her work has been awarded in numerous festivals, including the Prix HSBC pour la Photographie 2019, the Manifesto Festival 2017 or the International Woman Photographers Award 2017, and has been exhibited in several countries such as Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates or Mexico, amongst others. Recently, she was selected as one of the fellows for the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXII in New York and les Rencontres de la Jeune Photographie de Niort, France.
